The conference represents a reinterpretation of the Leopardi’s poem from a historical, literary and metrical perspective. Starting from the two autograph manuscripts of the text (from Visso and Naples), it will be analyzed in its history, even philological, by having regard to some recent and past critical studies (Santagata, Mengaldo, Lonardi, Blasucci, Gavazzeni).
